Set/2 Easy Chair 301 by W.H. Gispen for Kembo – Netherlands 1950s

Beautiful set of two easy chairs model 301 in completely original condition, designed by W.H. Gispen in the late 1950s for his own Dutch company Kembo. Heavy and sturdy metal frame, original faux leather upholstery in stunning purple. The faux leather is amazingly good after all those years, just two very little spots on one chair (see picture), no repairs. Of course, there are traces of use and age on the frame, but this only makes the chair even more charming in our humble opinion.

Very rare, especially as a set! We have also a matching coffee table in our collection.
